BYD’s premium DENZA brand has unveiled the production-ready Z electric supercar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed—and its performance figures are impossible to ignore.
⚡ Three Motors and Extreme Power
The DENZA Z uses a triple-motor all-wheel-drive system producing:
✅ 1,604 PS
✅ 1,240 Nm of torque
✅ 0–100 km/h in 2.25 seconds
✅ 1.96 seconds for the Racing version with optional tyres
✅ A top speed of up to 350 km/h
🔋 Charged Before You Finish Your Coffee
Performance is only part of the story.
DENZA’s new FLASH Charging technology can charge the battery from 10% to 70% in five minutes and from 10% to 97% in only nine minutes.
The second-generation 76 kWh Blade Battery provides up to 410 kilometres of WLTP driving range in the Coupe.

The DENZA Z will be offered in three main versions:
🚘 Coupe for everyday driving
🌬️ Spider convertible
🏎️ Racing for maximum track performance
Despite its supercar performance, the Z offers four seats and usable luggage space, combining extreme speed with everyday practicality.
🌍 Is China Coming for Europe’s Supercar Icons?
Orders are scheduled to open during summer 2026 in selected markets, with the first customer deliveries expected before the end of the year.
A special version is also being prepared for Nürburgring lap-record attempts later this year.
The question is no longer whether Chinese performance cars can compete.
