What happens when the JETOUR T2 leaves the city behind and begins a nearly month-long journey across borders, mountains, open steppes and unpaved roads?
The answer came through “The Way of the Nomads,” an extraordinary 12,000-kilometre owner expedition that took a convoy of JETOUR T2 vehicles through Kazakhstan, Georgia and Türkiye. 🚙🔥
What made the journey particularly interesting was that it was not a conventional promotional test conducted by engineers on a controlled track.
It was a real cross-border adventure initiated by JETOUR owners and travel content creators.
🌍 Three Countries and 12,000 Kilometres of Changing Terrain
The convoy followed historic nomadic routes while exploring some of the region’s most diverse landscapes.
The journey crossed the open steppes of Central Asia, the Caucasus Mountains and coastal highways, while also tackling sand, gravel and unpaved roads.
The challenge was not simply reaching the final destination. It was maintaining comfort, stability and performance throughout an extended cross-border journey.
🚙 Multiple T2 Versions Take on the Challenge
Participants used different JETOUR T2 powertrain variants during the expedition, including the 2.0-litre turbocharged model with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the 1.5-litre turbocharged model with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
According to JETOUR, both powertrains delivered the performance required for long-distance driving across changing road and terrain conditions.
The vehicle’s spacious cabin and ergonomically designed seating also helped reduce fatigue during extended hours behind the wheel.
🏔️ XWD Takes on Sand, Gravel and Unpaved Roads
The convoy’s vehicles were equipped with JETOUR’s intelligent XWD four-wheel-drive system and the 7+X one-touch off-road driving modes.
Throughout the expedition, the T2 vehicles encountered sand, gravel and unpaved surfaces, turning the journey into a practical demonstration of the vehicle’s ability to move from highways to challenging routes.
This reflects the main identity JETOUR is attempting to build around the T2:
A vehicle suitable for everyday city driving that can also support extended journeys beyond conventional roads.
⚡ The JETOUR T2 i-DM Becomes a Mobile Power Source
JETOUR also highlighted the plug-in hybrid T2 i-DM, which uses the brand’s Super Hybrid C-DM system.
The hybrid model features a 3.3-kW Vehicle-to-Load function, allowing the vehicle to provide external electricity for camping equipment, lighting, cooking appliances and other outdoor devices.
This feature gives travellers access to a mobile power source when camping or exploring areas away from the electrical grid.
👥 A Journey Created by Owners
One of the expedition’s most important elements was that it was initiated by owners and travel creators rather than being presented as a traditional factory test.
Participants shared their first-hand experiences on social media, covering the smooth roads, unexpected obstacles and demanding conditions encountered during the journey.
This type of real-world experience can be more compelling than a conventional advertisement, because the vehicle is not presented inside a studio. It is placed in a genuine journey involving long distances, changing weather and unpredictable roads.
🌐 More Than 500,000 T2 Series Users Worldwide
JETOUR announced that more than 500,000 users worldwide have chosen vehicles from the T2 series.
The model has expanded across markets in the Middle East, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region.
JETOUR has also established more than 300 owner clubs worldwide, bringing together over 31,000 vehicle owners.
In Kazakhstan alone, several local owner communities have been formed, with the Almaty club—the largest in the country—bringing together more than 1,000 members.
♻️ From Adventure to Environmental Responsibility
JETOUR’s owner activities in the region have not been limited to long-distance expeditions.
The brand previously cooperated with local vehicle clubs through the EcoCrew environmental initiative, which brought together 30 vehicles and more than 90 owners to help clean the Ili River area.
The initiative aimed to connect off-road and travel culture with a greater sense of responsibility towards the natural locations visited by adventure enthusiasts.
🇸🇦 Why Does This Matter to JETOUR Owners in Saudi Arabia?
The JETOUR T2 has become one of the brand’s most recognisable models in the Saudi market, particularly among customers searching for bold box-shaped styling, generous interior space, four-wheel drive and a vehicle suitable for both city use and outdoor journeys.
The 12,000-kilometre expedition is therefore more than a distant international story. It offers Saudi owners and potential customers a real-world example of how JETOUR is attempting to demonstrate the T2’s capabilities across varied terrain and long-distance conditions.
The question now is:
With a JETOUR T2 and 12,000 kilometres ahead of you, which destination would you choose first? 🔥
