The Nissan LEAF is no longer simply a quiet electric vehicle designed for everyday commuting.
Nissan has officially launched the new LEAF NISMO in Japan, transforming the third-generation electric crossover with performance technology and tuning inspired by NISMO’s motorsport experience. ⚡🔥
🏁 NISMO Gives the LEAF a New Personality
The upgrades focus on delivering sharper response and a more engaging driving experience through dedicated acceleration, deceleration, suspension and handling calibration.
Drivers can select between NISMO, STANDARD and ECO modes, with each setting offering a different accelerator response for sporty driving, daily use or improved efficiency.
⚡ Four Levels of Regenerative Braking
For the first time on a NISMO road car, the LEAF features steering-wheel paddles that allow the driver to adjust regenerative braking through four levels.
The system ranges from low resistance for smoother coasting to stronger deceleration that allows greater control through the accelerator pedal.
🛞 Michelin Tires and Lightweight ENKEI Wheels
The LEAF NISMO is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires and 19-inch ENKEI alloy wheels.
Each wheel is approximately one kilogram lighter than the standard version, while upgraded springs, stabilizers and KYB shock absorbers help improve steering response and body control.
Nissan has also introduced aerodynamic modifications designed to increase downforce without adding unnecessary drag.
💰 Three Grades Starting from ¥6.6 Million
The new model is offered in Japan in three versions:
NISMO B5, priced from ¥6,601,100.
NISMO B7, priced from ¥6,952,000.
NISMO B7 with RECARO sports seats, priced from ¥7,227,000.
The current announcement focuses on Japan, and Nissan has not announced a Saudi launch date.
