For decades, Range Rover has been recognised for its elevated stance and unmistakable box-shaped luxury SUV design.
Now, the British brand is preparing something dramatically different after officially previewing the new Range Rover GT, the fifth member of its family and one of its boldest models yet. 🚘⚡
🚘 The Fifth Member Reshapes the Range Rover Family
The Range Rover GT features a relatively low body and a flowing roofline that gives it proportions closer to a luxury coupé and grand tourer.
Prototype vehicles are currently completing their final global tests under distinctive gold camouflage, revealing the sleek silhouette without exposing every exterior detail.
Range Rover describes the model as its most car-like creation yet, while promising to retain the all-terrain capability associated with the brand.
⚡ Electric First, Hybrid Later
The GT will become the first all-electric Range Rover developed on the new EMA platform and will initially launch exclusively as a battery-electric vehicle.
Range Rover also plans to introduce a full hybrid option later in the model’s lifecycle, providing customers with greater powertrain flexibility.
Production will take place at the Halewood facility in the United Kingdom alongside combustion-engine and hybrid models.
🛋️ A Calm Cabin with Hidden Technology
Range Rover has also released the first images of the interior, revealing a minimalist design focused on calmness and reduced visual clutter.
The cabin features a single central touchscreen, a separate driver display and concealed air vents extending across the dashboard.
A sophisticated woven textile covers the dashboard and hides the speakers within its structure, while Range Rover promises class-leading second-row legroom.
🌍 Power, Range and Pricing Remain Secret
Range Rover has not yet disclosed motor output, battery capacity, driving range, pricing or the official sales date.
Saudi Arabian availability has also not been confirmed.
Full details are scheduled to be announced later in 2026 following the completion of the vehicle’s final testing programme.
