Mitsubishi is entering Saudi Arabia’s competitive family SUV market with an entirely new nameplate.
The all-new 2026 Mitsubishi Destinator has been unveiled in the Kingdom as a three-row, seven-seat midsize SUV combining practical space, modern technology and turbocharged performance for daily driving and family journeys. 🚙🔥
🚘 A New Family SUV from the Ground Up
The Destinator is not a facelifted version of an older model. It is an all-new vehicle developed for families seeking space and comfort in a body suitable for both city use and long-distance travel.
According to Mitsubishi’s global specifications, it measures 4,680 mm in length, has a 2,815 mm wheelbase and offers 214 mm of ground clearance.
⚙️ Turbo Power and Five Drive Modes
The SUV uses a 1.5-litre MIVEC turbocharged petrol engine producing approximately 161 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.
It is paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive, while five selectable modes—Normal, Tarmac, Wet, Gravel and Mud—adjust the vehicle’s response for different driving conditions.
🛋️ Seven Seats with Modern Technology
The three-row cabin accommodates seven passengers and includes dedicated air vents for the third row and practical storage throughout the interior.
Available equipment includes:
A 12.3-inch central display.
An 8-inch digital driver display.
A panoramic sunroof.
64-colour ambient lighting.
An eight-speaker Yamaha audio system.
USB ports for passengers across all three rows.
Final Saudi equipment may differ according to grade.
🛡️ Advanced Safety and Driver Assistance
Globally available safety equipment includes six airbags, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision mitigation and automatic high beam.
A surround-view camera system is also available on selected versions.
🇸🇦 Saudi Pricing Remains the Big Question
Although the Destinator has now been presented in Saudi Arabia, a complete official local price list for all grades has not yet appeared on Mitsubishi Saudi Arabia’s website.
Local pricing, warranty details and final specifications therefore remain subject to the authorised distributor’s announcement.
