Electric driving for daily journeys, with petrol power for longer trips. Toyota is expanding RAV4 choices in the Gulf, with the 2026 RAV4 PHEV officially listed by Toyota UAE from AED 154,900.

The listing follows Toyota’s October 4, 2026 announcement introducing the RAV4 as the first plug-in hybrid in its Middle East regional lineup.

324 HP and Up to 100 KM of Electric Range

Toyota UAE lists 324 hp, intelligent all-wheel drive and a claimed electric driving range of up to 100 km.

Charging support includes 11 kW AC and 50 kW DC. Actual electric range depends on driving conditions, temperature and air-conditioning use. The model page does not identify the test cycle behind its advertised range figure.

How Does It Differ from a Regular Hybrid?

A PHEV can recharge from an external power source, enabling longer electric driving while retaining a petrol engine. A conventional HEV does not require plug-in charging.

For buyers, convenient access to charging at home or work is an important consideration when assessing the plug-in version’s benefits.

Is the RAV4 PHEV Available in Saudi Arabia?

The Toyota Saudi Arabia page reviewed lists petrol and conventional HEV versions of the 2026 RAV4. We did not find a PHEV listing or local price on that page as of October 25, 2026.

The AED 154,900 starting price applies to the UAE, and its regional introduction does not establish a Saudi launch date.
